Breville's idea of positioning the feed tube directly over the center of the cutting disc provides sufficient balance to juice whole fruit, while the patented stabilizing knife and dual-action blade assembly grind pulp into smaller particles for faster, higher-yielding results.

Materials

The Juice Fountain Elite’s outer shell is made from the highest grade aluminum and zinc and is completely die-cast. Unlike thinker pressed metals, die-cast construction molds molten metal into shape at intense temperatures. The result is ultimate durability and performance, and a superbly refined finish. The Juice Fountain’s interior components feature a titanium-plated cutting disc and a stainless steel micro-mesh filter with over 40,000 filtering pores. All parts are dishwasher safe and have been designed with fewer food traps so that it’s very simple to clean.

Motor

The 1,000 watt (1 1/3 horsepower), Italian-made motor delivers ultimate power and durability. The built-in electronic 'smart chip' regulates power to the blades, depending on juicing load. Once pressure is placed against the cutter, the electronic motor automatically boosts power to the cutter and filter to ensure that they maintain optimum speed under load. Although for household use only, the Juice fountain Elite has sufficient power to rival most commercial juicing machines and performs at an impressive 13,000 revolutions per minute (RPM) on high speed.

Speed

Harder fruits and vegetables, like apples and carrots, require more power for optimal results. For these items, the Juice Fountain Elite's high-speed delivers a crushing 13,000 RPM, approximately 3 times faster than most other machines. At such speeds, teh pulp particles are 'g-forced' against the filter with remendous pressure to squeeze out as much juice a possible. Low-speed spins at a whisper quiet 6,500 rpms, which delivers the best results when juicing leafy vegetables, or softer fruits such as watermelon and orange. A detailed manual/recipe book is included with the machine that lists which vegetables are best suited to High and Low Speeds.

Capacity

The unique circular 3" stainless steel feed-tube easily processes whole fruits and vegetables without pre-cutting, slicing or dicing. the patented design centers the feed tube directly over the cutter, giving the strength to process large quantities of fruit and vegetables instantly. Most varieties of apples, peasr and peeled orantes can be juiced whole through the feed tube in seconds, a process that previoulsly took several mutes. It makes an 8 ounce glass of juice from whole apples in under 5 seconds. The machine comes standard with a  34 fl. oz (1 liter) juicing pitcher and large 100 fl. oz pulp container.

Cutter and Filter

The Juice Fountain Elite's patented, dual-action, diagonal knife blades are encased by a stainless steel cutting disc which features 115 individual knives to grind pulp into the tiniest particles. teh cutter and filter are both Italian crafted, and the stainless steel filter's 40,000 micro-pores have been formed with such precision that no single pore can be detected by the human eye. The 'micro-mesh' design maximizes the filter's effective catchment area, resulting in superior juice yield with all types of fruits and vegetables.
